Edward Yashin (1960) is a Ukrainian artist from Crimea. He graduated from the
Crimean Art School in 1978. Continuing his education under A. Martynets and V.
Augumentsev, Yashin graduated from the
Kharkiv State Art Academy in Ukraine in 1984.
As a conduit between a viewer and urban architecture, Edward creates artworks that masterfully communicate to the audience a comprehensive and genuine sense of a city. Largely focused on buildings’ structural elements, Yashin’s pieces follow a common general theme but each of his artworks bears an unquestionable mark of individuality that comes from the author’s ability to offer an entirely new perspective in every piece that he creates.
