I have always been attracted by landscape. As a subject it weaves in and out of my work. Wolves and Kimonos are emblematic of my work over a long period,representing a search for spirit, with the wolf as guide and the kimono a metaphoric actor on the stage of life. Landscape provides the background. Born Chicago, Illinois, studied University of Michigan, resident American Academy in Rome, resided 12 years in Italy.
