After retiring, my husband, Keith, and I moved from England to live in France and spent our first few years renovating an old water mill. When most of that work had been completed and I was searching for a new hobby, I took up water colour painting. This led to my taking a number of courses and classes locally. Painting has now become a major part of my life and gives me a tremendous amount of satifaction. Much of my inspiration comes from the beauty of the countryside surrounding our home in the foothills of the French Pyrenees, and also from as our travels particularly in Africa and India.
I have had a number of successful exhibitions on my own locally in France and also in Spain and I have participated many times in local exhibitions and events on a group basis.
