Lola Gayle is a vocalist & songwriter with husband Mikael Sandgren for Los Angeles based music project MiLO.
She was born in New York City to Jamaican parents and moved with her family to Los Angeles at age seven.
Lola's image has been captured in works by video artists such as Bill Viola and photographers such as Jessica Shokrian. She has also modeled for painting artists in Europe.
Lola was inspired by her seven-year-old daughter to experiment with manipulating her own image by layering photographs with transparencies, and then painting on the final image.
