Mikhail Naruzetskiy was born in 1930 in Odessa (Ukraine, former Soviet Union).
He is an author of a number of public monuments in Ukraine, Moldova and Russia;
he also worked as a portrait sculptor.
He had taken part in regional, national and international art exhibitions in Ukraine, Russia, Finland, Bulgaria, Japan and USA.
His works are on permanent exhibits in museums of Ukraine and other countries of former Soviet Union.
In 1993, M. Naruzetskiy moved to Los Angeles, US where he continues sculptural work.
In 2004 his design proposal won a contest for a memorial honoring the soldiers from former Soviet Union who fought Nazism in WWII.
The memorial was built in 2005, in West Hollywood’s Plummer Park.
