R O Y G U Z M A N is a fine arts auteur: a painter, an illustrator, a graphic artist.
Trained at the famed Art Center College of Design in Pasadena where he studied fine art, he quickly developed a love of illustration and his works can be seen in everything from company logo designs to children\\\\\\\\\'s tales to books and more. He eventually branched out into art and creative direction, creating print art for many different industries, including beauty, toy, high tech and produce. This experience also helped to fuel his love of color and the interlocking ideas of various shapes and textures.
Recently, Roy has returned to the canvas. He experiments with styles and ideas, and has trouble maintaining interest in just one direction. So the work is ever-evolving.
Roy is currently preparing to participate in a gallery show at the NoHo Gallery in LA for the upcoming Latin exhibit from Sept 24 - Nov 20, 2011
Born and raised in Southern California, Roy is inspired by everything around him, but mostly by what\\\\\\\\\'s in his mind. Imagination, then, is his ultimate medium, any blank surface his focus, and art his vehicle for expression.
