In Last Rays #5, is an exploration of the fleeting light of sunset over the Pacific. Broad strokes of gold, orange, and coral move through layers of gray, capturing the sky as daylight gives way to evening. The dark horizon anchors the shifting color above it. I wanted to hold that brief moment when the sun has nearly disappeared, yet its warmth still fills the sky.
