Interview with Artist: Katerina Aksenova
How and when did you realize that painting is the true desire of your soul?
From my early childhood. My mother said that when I was 8 months old, she left me alone, admiring flowers and patterns, in front of a colorful carpet. Later, as a kid, I painted white walls in the house, creating a rainbow world around me. At school, all my notebooks in all subjects were filled with my drawings. When talking on the phone, I drew the future of the person I was talking to.
What is inspring you?
I am inspired by mother nature, dreams, music, everything beautiful and soulful, sometimes something elusive, which cannot be conveyed in words.
Do you always create with inspiration?
In our world, everything is so subtle. Even when it seems that there is no inspiration, you have only to start, and the wonderful Divine power leads you.
What are your experiences during the creative process?
The creative process cannot be fully conveyed in words. It's different every time. Warmth, grace, gratitude, images, light, ...this is a small part that can be conveyed in words. Your thoughts, your hand seem to be guided. And there is a special lightness, gratitude and joy to be a conductor of light energies for the good of the world!
What is the most important content in your paintings?
Love, Light, Beauty, Harmony - all with God's help, for the good of all and for the expansion of everything beautiful. I paint whatever needs to be manifested at the moment of the process according to the will of God.
Tell us a story related to your artwork:
Each creation has a unique story associated with it. Each one is interesting and unique. I never know the outcome, everything comes in the process. I dream of creations before and after the process of creation. They are alive, transmitting information through thoughts, images, energies for the person, people for whom they are intended. People message me words of gratitude, tell wonderful stories: about healing, love, a little bundle from heaven, insights. They called my creations charms, amulets, talismans. I offer my words of Gratitude to the Creator!
Are you always creative?
When I don't create for a long time I feel emptiness. But sometimes it happens before the creation of something very strong, powerful and necessary. Like a stop before a big jump.
What do you like most about painting?
Colors, sensations, incoming thoughts, images, unpredictability of the outcome, grace, gratitude - Everything!
Who is the most inspiring artist for you?
There are a lot of them, and this is very pleasing! These are artists, whose work is filled with Love and brings Light to the hearts of everyone!
Who is your teacher?
God! The Creator! Lord! All-encompassing Divine Spirit! Unconditional Love and Light! There are many names, the meaning is the same.
In what state of mind do your create best?
Feelings of unity, unconditional love, a state of soaring, merging with God, the realization that the Creator is always with us.
Describe your creative process in more detail:
Every time everything is very unique. There maybe an altar, prayers, meditations - all these are additional, wonderful tools that help to align with those energies and flows of creation. I plunge into the very center of the soul, dissolve in white light, fill with it over the edge, merge with the infinite universe and begin to create in a white stream of light in co-creation with God. Thus I start to create.
Then I dissolve completely in the process of creation, mixing with rainbow colors, speaking words of love with my heart, infusing the creations with light energies and images according to the will of God. Thus I am in co-creation. How many seconds, minutes, hours have passed? I do not know. I realize that the time during the whole process is different, infinite and very flexible. And as if "emerging" back into reality, I understand that the creation is ready.
