Against the Grain

A grid of orange bands crosses a deep oxblood field, its order cut by a diagonal. Patches of cross-hatched viridian and yellow-green scatter across the surface as if loosed from any single form. Beneath them the red ground stirs with faint pressed rings, so that nothing on the canvas fully comes to rest.
